Note on Computerism from RENOT

“Definition of Computerism”

Computerism is the creation of a drawing or painting completely done on a computer.......................

—It's made from a sketch on site or from a pose, as in a portrait, starting from a blank screen/page.

—It's also created from a traditional quality paper photograph, which is then scanned.......................

—It can also be generated from a digital camera or camcorder.........................................................

Once the artist is satisfied with the finished artwork, this image is then saved onto any number of disc form.

An initial proof is then printed onto canvas media and stretched onto bars. This first print is preserved and......

not available for sale but kept by Renot, as a reference for future buyers. Finished dimensions: 7 1/2" x 10 7/8"

Then, a first print is made called the original and numbered 1, dimensions 32 5/8"x 19 7/8". It's made available

for sale as the original, accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity. The price for an embellished version —

mounted on stretcher bars, ready for framing and with relief: $1,500...........................................................................

The Giclées which follow this original, numbered from 02 to175 are available for sale with the same dimensions

and also include a Certificate with the same relief finish, for $900. Delivery for any piece will be between 4 to 5

weeks. When visiting Studio Renot on the web site palette, click on the letter U. There, you'll find a series of

black and white art made in "Unisize", with the average price of $250—$750. Also on the palette,,......................

you'll click the letter C to find Computerisms. All these black and white drawings are available in your choice of

dimensions and media surfaces— Epson photo paper, Canon, Arches paper, and others. For canvas, consult La Galerie.
